Dr. Randy Lewis, LMFT
Randy is an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a highly skilled Relationship Educator. His unique approach to helping people problem-solve involves his ability to listen compassionately, to share his insights appropriately and to focus carefully on the issues at hand to bring a quick resolution to the things that trouble you the most.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and Behavioral Science from Trevecca Nazarene University in 1984 and his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in 1992. He completed his Doctor of Education (EdD) in Leadership and Professional Practices from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2002.
Randy began as a family counselor in 1988, working with families having adolescents that were troubled. Beginning in 2008, he received training as a Relationship Educator and has worked with individuals and couples at the University of Central Florida Marriage and Family Research Institute to explore their relationships and improve communication, resolve conflict and build intimacy. Now with 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families, Randy brings a unique set of skills to each client.
Born with a mild case of Cerebral Palsy, he has a keen understanding of the trials faced by those with disabilities. He is also aware of how disabilities can impact relationships. These insights provide Randy with a unique perspectIve on the effort needed to overcome many obstacles to succeed in life.
